Heavenly Sweet Potato Bars
- Base:
- In a food processor, combine flour, nuts and sugar; process until blended.
- Add butter and process until mixture sticks together and is well mixed.
- Press into an 11 by 7 pan.
- Bake at 30 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes
- Topping:
- In food processor, combine sugar, corn syrup and butter; process until creamed.
- Add eggs and process until fluffy.
- Add sweet potato and process until smooth.
- Combine flour and baking powder; gently stir into mixture.
- Fold in raisins.
- Pour topping over partially cooked bars, sprinkle with pecan halves.
- Return to oven and bake 25-30 minutes or until set.
